Perry County, KY

Appalachia Reach Out began a Work and Witness site in Perry County, after the devastating Eastern Kentucky floods in 2022. Perry County is home to a little over 27,000 people. Like most counties nestled in Southeastern and Eastern Kentucky, it was known for coal mining. What started as Disaster Relief work has now become part of our full-time ministry. Under the direction of Pastor Sam Stacy, this Work and Witness site under the ARO banner is closely partnered with the work of Petrey Memorial Baptist Church in Hazard.
